The room after the Rot room is your first puzzle room, and it contains four buttons. Note that there is only a single battle in this area, and you are guaranteed to be fully healed before you have to deal with it, so it's not vital to keep your health up. However, if a character's hit points do run low, you can always cast spells or drink potions to recover it. It can't be cured, but its damage rate is slow enough that you shouldn't have any problems. Rot will take away 1 hit point from each party member every few seconds. The second room forces you to contract Rot the door beyond will automatically open, but only after your party is infected and comments on it. The first room is empty aside from a statue that tells you what's going on. The cave is intentionally linear these trials are to be taken in a specific order. It's in the northwest corner of the desert area, just north of the lone spider egg. Once you're ready to proceed, teleport to either the Sivlerglen or Goblin Village Waypoint Portal the entrance to the Immaculates' Trial Cave is about equidistant from both. You can use whatever you happen to be carrying already, but you'll permanently lose it, so you won't want to give up anything too valuable. Whatever you buy, you'll need 5.5 pounds of items (in half-pound increments or smaller). If you can't find enough logs or robes, you can buy food or booze. Remember that you can buy logs from both Cyseal and Silverglen as necessary. Cloth armors (robes) weigh the same as well, though they're usually incredibly expensive. Perhaps the best items to buy are logs, since they weigh exactly a half-pound each and only cost a few gold. One of the mini-trials in the cave involves placing specific weights on switches, so buying items ahead of time will make things go a lot faster. Before going to the cave in question though, we need to do a little shopping. It's taken a while to get here, but it's time to perform the trial and finish Infiltrating the Immaculates.
